Ebony J. Phoenix, also known as Ebony J for short, is a suicide attempt survivor, mental health advocate, and the founder of Still Here, Still Becoming™. Her work helps individuals and communities move from survival into becoming by reframing suicide prevention through belonging, identity, and future.

She is a devoted mother, passionate Self-Care Specialist, Suicide Prevention Advocate, and Community Leader. Ebony J has embraced various roles, including being a runway and plus-size model, social media influencer, and a #1 National & International Best Selling Co-Author for the collaborative book "Girl On Fire." Her journey as a published author has been enriched by features in esteemed publications like Bold Journey magazine.

Driven by her own experiences with suicide ideation, Ebony J recognized the broader societal issue and dedicated her life to suicide prevention. She founded an Annual Suicide Prevention Event five years ago, which continues to thrive, with plans to expand its reach. Ebony J's unconventional yet effective methods, ranging from laughter and affirmations to encouraging genuine self-expression, have helped countless individuals find beauty in their struggles and embrace real self-care tools.
